Laminate floors are inexpensive and can look really great in a home.  With all the new style choices available, a homeowner can find a floor that will complement their kitchen or other space.  Although laminate floors are durable and look nice, we discourage homeowners from using them in bathroom or laundry rooms. When water is on them for a substantial amount of time, they can soak up water and swell.  When this happens, laminate floors are hard to repair or replace because of the difficulty in finding an exact match.  This can lead to more headache for a homeowner.
