ARS Part of Mudslide Cleanup effort

The ARS Flood & Fire Cleanup Logan team responded to a couple of homes affected by a massive mudslide after a canal broke in Logan, Utah on Saturday.  The canal broke late Saturday morning, completely taking out one home and damaging several others when the water and mud flowed down the streets and into basement homes.  ARS responded on Saturday to help clean out basements of those affected.  Here is a video of the coverage and cleanup effort from Fox 13 News in Utah.  For more information on the mudslide, click here.

ARS Homeowners Tip: Fireworks Safety

The 4th of July is a big holiday for fireworks, family and food.  With all the excitement and fun that goes along with fireworks, sometimes people forget that they can be dangerous, even fatal.  According to the National Fire Protection Agency, in 2006, fireworks caused an estimated 32,600 reported fires, including 1,700 total structure fires, 600 vehicle fires, and 30,300 outside and other fires.
