Flooding in Idaho

It has been announced that there is a flood warning for Rexburg, Idaho.  The warmer temperatures and rain in Eastern Idaho has become a major concern for residents in these areas and as reported by the local news, the Rexburg area still has a flood warning in effect.  The area authorities are encouraging residents who are concerned about flooding to be prepared by buying sand bags.  For residents concerned about what to do after a flood, our General Manager of our Idaho office is Sean Stark.  He is available to help with any cleanup, repairs or restoration after a flood.  You can reach Sean at (208) 745-1366.  To check out the link about the flooding in Rexburg, click here.

Where is Your Main Water Valve?

How many property managers, tenants, or homeowners know where their main water valve is located?  We have found that excessive water damage to a home or business can sometimes be avoided when the main water valve is located and shut-off.  Take for example the homeowner who wakes up to hear water spraying from a pipe that has suddenly come loose or broken.  To stop the water flow and spread of the damage the fastest way would be to quickly turn off the main water valve.  This will effectively keep the water from continuing to flow until the problem can be fixed.  It also would be wise for off-site managers and multi-unit buildings to have a person on site who knows where the main water vavle shut-off is.  For questions or tips on repair, cleanup and restoration when a flood or water damage happens, please contact any of our offices.

January Employee of the Month

Here at ARS Flood & Fire Cleanup, we pride ourselves in the quality of employees we have.   Our employees are all clean cut, professional, and sensitive to the unique needs and situations of each job.  Each month all of the employees have a chance to vote on the previous month's "Employee of the Month".  This is a way for us to recognize one of our hardworking employees.  For the month of January, the ARS Employee of the Month was Jonas Harmon.  Some of the comments made about Jonas was that he takes the time to really train and teach new guys; he is good to work with; and works well with customers.  Congratulations Jonas!

Aggies ranked in National Polls
