For those that live in Cache Valley, you are most likely aware of The Valey Channel. The Valley Channel is on cable TV and is very geared towards the Cache community in the things it airs. They are always at local events, air local games and feature local companies. The ARS Logan office has had a few chances to talk about what we do and the things we strive to accomplish within our business. Below you can see a segment we have aired recently on fire damage. ARS Flood & Fire Cleanup has expanded recently, without losing the small, local business feel. We have expanded to include more offices along the Wasatch Front, including Ogden, Salt Lake City and Provo/Orem. We have also added offices in Rigby, ID and Rock Springs, and Casper, WY, while the Corporate Office, where it all began, is still in North Logan, UT. With many companies, expansion also means losing the small, local business feel. At ARS, we feel we have been successful in maintaining the small business environment by empowering our General Managers to make decisions, along with involving ourselves in the local communities where we do business. A main water line leak yesterday in Logan, UT, led to some muddy basements for 2 homes. ARS responded yesterday evening and started pumping and shoveling out about 3 feet of water and mud from the basement of two homes on about 400 N. and 100 W. ARS employees are working hard to get them both cleaned up and back to normal working condition.

Laminate floors are inexpensive and can look really great in a home. With all the new style choices available, a homeowner can find a floor that will complement their kitchen or other space. Although laminate floors are durable and look nice, we discourage homeowners from using them in bathroom or laundry rooms. When water is on them for a substantial amount of time, they can soak up water and swell. When this happens, laminate floors are hard to repair or replace because of the difficulty in finding an exact match. This can lead to more headache for a homeowner.
